Soleil Mousseau

Soleil discovered her passion for dance at a young age, in her first acro class.

 

Throughout her dancing career, she’s added and received extensive dance training in styles such as Acrobatics, Contortion, Ballet, Jazz, Afro Styles, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Soleil has been trained in the CDTA syllabuses of Tap and Jazz, as well as RAD and Cicchetti Ballet. Soleil also has her Acrobatic Arts primary, level 1, level 2 and tumbling certifications.

Since starting as a competitive dancer at the young age of seven. She has received top overall high scores and special recognition awards and has been recognized as a well-rounded, technically strong dancer with much potential.

 

Soleil has also worked doing freelance dance positions, as well as apprentice positions with professional Choreographers.

Soleil completed her high school years at Langley fine arts, where she produced and performed multiple works showcasing her own choreography. Her time at Langley fine 
Arts inspired her to attend SFU school of contemporary arts, where she will be working on her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Dance. 

​

Soleil has always had a deep passion to teach. Starting at 12 years old she began student teaching and subbing for classes.

 

She’s very excited to teach and promote a deeper understanding of dance while facilitating a caring and excepting atmosphere. Constantly creating a safe space to learn. She always encourages her students and other children to try their best and learn from their mistakes.
